Russian Construction Congress held in Moscow

International Exhibition Center "Crocus Expo" hosted the 3rd Russian Construction Congress “Sustainable Development Strategy and Regional Characteristics of the Building Complex of Russia”, which was organized by «OCG».

Alexander Veselov, development director of ASTERA an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate, took part in a discussion on "Current Trends of the construction industry in Russia in 2014: which objects are more profitable to invest in?”

"In conditions of competitive market, projects with transparent economy and timeline have a real chance to attract investments. High-quality retail real estate is the most profitable today, followed by business centers, and hotels. I would separate quality warehouses, which are in short supply today in all regions of Russia", - pointed out Alexander during the discussion.

Within the limits of the Congress representatives of specialized government agencies and business leaders discussed the potential development of the construction industry in Russia and tried to formulate recommendations on issues such as the low level of technologies, the prime cost of construction, the lack of investment volume, etc.
