"Russian Credit Bank" entered Saint Petersburg market

In October and November eight offices of Moscow bank OJSC "Russian Credit Bank" were opened in Saint Petersburg. ASTERA an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate acted as a broker to rent half of the facilities: Zagorodny Prospekt 8; Dybenko Street 24; Prospekt Nauki 14, Prospekt Elizarova 12. By the end of 2014 it is planned to open two more offices.

Bank’s priority area is to provide services to corporate clients. List of proposals for individual parties is represented by deposits, money transmissions, current accounts, credit cards, and personal bank safes.

"Entrance to St. Petersburg market was made due to the implementation of plans to expand the geographic reach of the bank. A large number of corporate clients in Moscow have branches and representative offices of their firms in St. Petersburg. Additionally, business and standard of living of people in St. Petersburg are at sufficiently high level. As a consequence, the demand on high-quality banking services grows. Currently, Saint Petersburg banking market is saturated with proposals for both individual and legal persons. Nevertheless, when there is a product or service which is available and interesting to the customer, it is always possible to find a field of activity" - said Anton Kirikov, branch manager of "Northwest” of "Russian Credit Bank."

The main factors that guide the Bank in selecting office premises are transport accessibility for customers and the ability to organize space wisely, such as customer waiting area, account managers’ area of operation and checkout area.

"In 2013 a number of major Russian Banks delivered and successfully implemented plans to develop a branch network in St. Petersburg. Likely, the segment will keep high level of activity in 2014. Primarily banks are interested in the premises with the area of 80-200 sq. m. within immediate vicinity of the metro station in the area of intensive pedestrian traffic which have qualitative visual characteristics. These are very competitive tenants that consider sufficiently high rental rates up to 5 thou./sq.m./month" - noted Lyudmila Reva, director of ASTERA an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate.
