Velko-2000 Leases 3'500 sq. m. of Industrial Space with ASTERA Assistance

Moscow company ‘Velko-2000’ has leased industrial space in Evpatorijskij lane of Vyborgskij district of Saint Petersburg. ASTERA, an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate, has served as a transaction broker.

‘Velko-2000’ company designs, manufactures and assembles translucent structures on the basis of aluminum profile systems Schuco International (Germany). Among the major company activities there are comprehensive architectural façade solutions, glazing of high-rise buildings, sophisticated translucent floorings and roofing. Company offices are located in the town of Korolev (Moscow region) and in the city of Rostov-na-Donu.
In St. Petersburg the company is working on the project of business complex “Nevskaya ratusha”. Moscow company is engaged as a contractor for design and implementation of technical solutions for enclosing structures of the project with the total area of 93’000 sq. m., as well as façade structures with glass and stone fillings. The leased site in Vyborgskij district will be used to arrange production of aluminum structures for “Nevskaya ratusha”.

“During selection of the industrial space the key requirement was location in the vicinity of the project construction site in Degtyarnyj lane’” – says Roman Breshkov, the Engineering Director at ‘Velko-2000’ Ltd., – “As to other important requirements to the space – we considered the ceilings height and floors quality, as well as power supply margin of at least 250 kW”.
By estimations of analysts at ASTERA, an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate, the production companies are the most active tenants of industrial real estate. “In the 1st quarter of 2012, Russian companies, operating in field of light, food, pharmaceutics industry, were not only in search for retail space but also built demand for warehouse projects,” – says Vera Bojkova, the Head of Warehouse Market Department at ASTERA, an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate, – “The space of 1’000 – 3’5000 sq. m. is of highest demand among tenants”. << Return to the list
