ASTERA represented the new resident of «Utkina Zavod»

MD – Service Ltd., the leading Russian hardware and steel structures producer for the new residential construction, has acquired a 2.5. ha territory of the Utkina Zavod’ real estate developing project in Saint-Petersburg. This territory will be used for the private manufacturing area. The broker is ASTERA, an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate.

The “MD–Service” Company was founded in 2005. Today such leading companies as “Glavstroy-Spb”, “LSR”, “UIT”, “CDS”, “Construction trust”, “Construction Department”, “L1”, and many others are the producer’s long-established clients. Regarding the production peculiarities, the main bulk of clients comprises companies of the North-West region situated in Saint – Petersburg and Leningrad region, Arhangel’s, Murmansk, Petrozavodsk, Pskov, Veliky Novgorod, Cherepovets, etc. In addition, "MD-Service" has experience working on projects commissioned in Moscow, Kazan, Anapa, Novorossiysk and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

“The decision on the land purchase was made as we needed to expand our company for the new projects realization related to the full cycle of metal processing which will last 5 years. Earlier the “MD-Service” Ltd. production facilities were situated on the two medium land plots in the Nevsky Region of Saint –Petersburg. When the first production area is opened, we will combine all our production units in the territory of “Utkina Zavod’”. Currently the project is still at the development stage. At the new production area such segments as of the spares mechanical processing, high-temperature and termochemical processing, liquid vanish and powder paint applying, repairing and hardening of machinery industry spares by the means of thin films applying are considered to be organized.
