ASTERA Assisted In Opening of New Fitness Clubs Chain «Eurofitness»

In November near the underground station ‘Akademicheskaya’ a fitness centre of a new chain ‘Eurofitness’ will be opened. ASTERA, an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate has rendered services on premises selection.

The first club of ‘Eurofitness’ chain is to open in 10, Nauki prospect; its area is 1’300 square meters. The new modern club will include a gym with a cardio-line, fitted with new training equipment from the USA, two aerobics halls and area of functional and athletic training.
“A space in the rapidly developing district with high population density was required for the first club of the chain. Vyborgsky district meets these requirements, and availability of new residential quarters there is its advantage. The competition is formed by separate fitness centres developed from old gyms. They are small in size and are not fitted with quality equipment. This fact will allow us to redirect fitness centres visitors, looking for quality fitness services, to our club”, - Sergey Rachinsky, the General Director of ‘Eurofitness’ clubs chain says.
‘Eurofitness’ chain is positioned in medium price segment. The club concept is based on the combination of conventional fitness programs and the whole row of innovative courses. Within the framework of functional and athletic training a CrossFit training popular in Europe will be first presented in St. Petersburg. It is based on training methods for special divisions of police and army. Among other innovative training courses there are KettlebelFit, StrongFit, MassFight, Track&Field Fit.

The idea of chain creation belongs to a team of professional sportsmen and top-managers of fitness industry with a long-term experience in cooperation with a group of investors and marketing specialists.The General Director of ‘Eurofitness’ club, Sergey Radchinsky is the Honoured Master of Sports, the Honoured Coach of Russia; the repeated record holder of the Guinness Book of Records; repeated Champion of Russia and World in weight lifting. Sergey Radchinsky has been working in fitness industry for about 15 years, and have been professionally going in for sport for over 20 years. He is the President of International Academy of Weightlifting and Fitness in New York.
“Operators of fitness sector prefer renting space in districts with high density of residential quarters and in the areas of business activities with high concentration of offices,” – Lyudmila Reva, the Director of Business Development at ASTERA, an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate, explains, – “The major requirements are still the minimum number of columns and open space layout; so that the space could be zoned in a way which would wisely arrange the flows of visitors inside the club. Other requirements include electric power margin, high ceilings and increased load on floorings. Average rental rates for such space makes from 500 up to 800 roubles per square meter per month”.
