ASTERA Serves as a Broker in Lease Transaction for 1?130 sq.m

“Winedom” company has leased a space of 1’130 sq.m. in Krasnogvardejskij district, and ASTERA, an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate, has served as a broker in this transaction.
The space leased by the Moscow distributor of elite alcohol is located at the intersection of Piskarevskij and Volgo-Donskij prospects in a detached building constructed in 2010. It was earlier occupied by the construction goods hypermarket. The space infrastructure allows to arrange there a distribution centre integrated with a sales area. The space comprises a parking lot and a loading zone located in the immediate vicinity of the large motor thoroughfares and railway line.

“Winedom” company has been operating on Saint Petersburg market since 2007. The company head office is arranged in Obukhovskoj oborony prospect.
According to experts of ASTERA, an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate, the alcohol products distributors are the most active among potential tenants for warehouse and combined-purpose space. They make 25% of the total volume of warehouse occupation summarizing the results of 2011, although earlier their share was not more than 5-10%. During 2011 the distributors of alcohol products together with international production companies and DIY-operators, were generating the demand for warehouse space including large-scale warehouse units with area of over 5’000 sq.m.
