ASTERA Signs Brokerage Agreement for New Space in Complex «Garden City»

In December the shopping and exhibition complex Garden City will expand its area by means of construction of a modern glass atrium. ASTERA an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate renders services on tenants selection.

Currently works on entrance alteration are being carried out in shopping and exhibition complex Garden City. Upon works completion at site of open yard an up-to-date glass atrium with the area of 1’500 sq.m will appear. The new areas will accommodate tenants matching the general concept of the complex, which is a guide for comfortable life in the country: operators of goods for home, constructions goods, interior salons, electronics stores, florist’s, gift shops, etc.

The shopping and exhibition complex Garden City is located in the North-Westerns part of Saint Petersburg in the village of Lakhta (85, Lakhtinsky prospect). The total area of the complex is 52’000 sq.m. The anchor tenants of the complex are: OBI hypermarket (15’000 sq.m.), supermarket of premium class ‘Land’ (2’400 sq.m.), trading house ‘Koleso’ (2’000 sq.m.), fast-food restaurants chain ‘McDonald’s’ (380 sq.m.), Fitness House fitness centre (2’600 sq.m.), Magnat Mebel Plus (1’500 sq.m), GNEZDO (1’200 sq.m.), as well as over hundred of tenants offering different goods and services, which create comfortable life. The complex has a car parking for 1’000 cars.

Garden City is the only complex in Saint Petersburg, which combines retail and exhibition areas. Exhibitions and presentations are being held on a monthly basis in the exhibition hall of the complex, thus attracting additional flows of customers. At the open site the weekend fairs, festive concert programs, outdoor events are being held.
