‘SOGAZ-Med’ rented a building of 708,1 sq.m at Chernyshevskaya metro station

Central office of SOGAZ-Med Company will be located in stand-alone building on 14, Ryleeva Street in Saint Petersburg. ASTERA an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate acted as a consultant in this transaction.

SOGAZ-Med company concluded a long-term lease agreement for a three-storey building with the area of 708,1 sq.m on 14, Ryleeva Street. The building was constructed in 1862 and fully renovated soon after 1945. The building does not refer to any identified cultural heritage site or to any objects of cultural heritage of federal, regional or local (municipal) significance.

‘We planned to move for a long time due to increase of employees’ number in SOGAZ-Med central office in St. Petersburg. When choosing a building, the most important thing for us was its location. The building on 14, Ryleeva Street has favorable location and comfortable planning, and, as a result, we decided in its favor. We are leaving completely our old office on 37, Komsomola Street, - comments Olga Kudryavtseva, head of Marketing and Development department at SOGAZ-Med. – New office on Ryleeva Street will allocate all departments providing the work of St. Petersburg office. Also, there will be front office organized for customer service. In a new office our clients will be able to obtain and to change their compulsory medical insurance’.

The opening of SOGAZ-Med central office on Ryleeva Street will be held by the end of 2014. At the moment cosmetic repairs of entrance area and the first floor of the building are in progress. Here operation room for customer service will be allocated.

‘Next year we are not planning to open new company offices in St. Petersburg. Emphasis will be placed on the expanding the range of services and informing citizens about all the possibilities of obligatory medical insurance system’, - noted Olga Kudryavtseva.

‘Compared to Moscow, office market in St. Petersburg is much less developed. Today, there are only a few buildings in the city that are being used as an office of one company. Yet, majority of them are reconstruction sites. Among new objects we can name headquarters of LUKOIL oil company on Aptekarskaya emb., and headquarters of Transneft corporation on Arsenalnaya emb. Considering the fact that office buildings are rented or acquired mostly by large national and international companies, demand for such premises in St. Petersburg will depend on development plans of these companies in the Northern Capital’, - states Ludmila Reva, director of ASTERA an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate.
